About us

our origin story

Hi friends! I'm Kristin, owner of Chasing Paper Clothing Company. I started this boutique because I wanted to help women of all sizes feel confident at their 9 to 5.

Let me give you a little back story. I had a full on frumpy phase after I gave birth to our oldest son and it lasted a BIT too long. I decided I needed to step it up, but my old clothes didn’t fit right (if at all). Traditional work wear often left my 30-something-year-old self feeling stuffy, but I couldn't pull off the juniors looks any more either. I love supporting local and small businesses, but I found many boutiques to offer very limited options that could pass as work wear.

That started my endeavor of opening an online boutique for professional women's clothing - because if you spend 40 hours a week working - why not feel like a boss?
